Ramdane Touhami (born 23 September 1974 in Montauban, France) is a French-Moroccan artist, fashion designer, product designer, DJ and journalist. Aged 17 he launched a T-shirt brand, "Teuchiland", that parodied the Timberland brand with a reference to cannabis. He then launched the King Size skateboard fashion brand in 1996, with his friend Marco. In 1997 he co-created the Polette T-shirt brand, parodying the Colette boutique.〔 He has been a designer for Liberty of London.〔 With Marc Jacobs and Jeremy Scott he ran l'Epicerie, a concept store that opened in September 1998 and closed in April 1999.〔〔 In February 2000 he moved to Tokyo to help revive the chain And A, and moved back to Paris in 2001 to launch Consultants, a fashion consulting company.〔 In 2004 he opened a Paris store, Bureau Politique, which is the home to his Résistance and RT brands.〔 His 2006 Résistance line, carried by 150 stores worldwide, paid homage to the Black Panthers and was researched with David Hilliard, a founding member.〔 In 2007 he revamped Maison de Cire Trudon, a French candlemaker, and he is now the CEO and co-owner. He married Victoire de Taillac in September 2010; they met in 1999 when she ran a PR firm in Paris. They have three children. They live in New York, and previously lived in Tokyo, London, Paris, Jaipur, and Tangier. His father is a French union organizer and a communist.
